Life has been good recently. If you follow this blog you may have noticed its been pretty dry as I usually use it as a means to complain and vent about what bothers me. Since I am blogging here now, and you’ve probably already caught the title of this post you can probably guess that’s changed.
It hasn’t changed in a sense where I am terribly troubled, but that’s mostly because I’m slightly humored by the idiocy of this guy that he really believes himself. So to save you the trouble, I’m going to tell you his story first (from my perspective) and see if you draw a similar conclusion.
In case you didn’t know the back-story is basically my wife’s parents own a dry cleaner, but speak no English so call me in to communicate with the neighbor that owns a thrift shop. The thrift shop opened about 2-3 months ago.

The far building on the right in the above picture, is the back of the dry cleaners. The building just to the left of us is the thrift shop.
There are 3 dumpsters in this picture as well. The smallest on the right is ours, just to the left of that belongs to the neighbor on the other side of the thrift shop, and the dumpster nearly falling off the left side belongs to the thrift shop. A considerable distance from the buildings. All three dumpsters are locked.

The distance between the buildings and our dumpster is about 20 feet. The thrift shop dumpster is about 100 feet away. We have a lock on our dumpster because we have caught the Thrift Shop owner & employees throwing stuff in there. Personally, I think his teenage employee’s were told to throw those items away and they did the best way teenage boys know how.
I believe that someone did break into his dumpster, but I don’t think it has anything to do with the trash by our dumpster. Why would someone show such utter disrespect towards his dumpster by breaking it and throwing items on the ground then be so casual with ours?
The humoring part is that he believes his story is plausible and mine is not.
